We keep data collection minimal. Today the site collects nothing beyond standard server logs and, if you opt in later, an email address for alerts.

What we collect now

Standard web-server logs (IP address, page, timestamp) for security and troubleshooting. The live forecast is requested by your browser directly and cached locally; we do not store your location on our servers.

Email alerts (planned)

An email alert feature is built but turned off. When it launches it will use double opt-in: you confirm your address before any alert is sent. Every message will include a one-click unsubscribe link, and you will only receive alerts for the modules and city you chose. We will not sell email addresses.

Advertising and analytics

If advertising or privacy-friendly analytics are enabled in the future, this page will describe them before they run. No third-party ad or analytics scripts load while those features are off.

Cookies

The site itself sets no tracking cookies. Your browser's local storage is used only to cache the forecast for an hour so pages load faster.
