First-Freeze Lookup
Type your city to see its first-freeze dates and jump to local winter-prep deadlines. Dates are NOAA 1991–2020 normals from the nearest reporting station.
What you get
Each city page lists the probability dates for the first fall freeze at 32°F, 28°F, and 24°F — the early one-in-ten date, the median, and the late nine-in-ten date — from NOAA's 1991–2020 climate normals, along with a live 10-day outlook and a step-by-step checklist for each task.
Dates are drawn from the nearest reporting station with valid freeze data, and each page names that station and its distance so you can judge how well it represents your exact location. See the methodology for details.
